Generate mortgage loans through solicitation of individual consumers, groups, real estate brokers, and builders. Originate mortgage loans, complete applications, pre-qualify potential applicants, obtain all necessary documentation, provide disclosures, analyze applicants financial status, credit and property to determine feasibility of granting loan in compliance with FNMA, FHLMC, VA, FHA and mortgage lending regulations includes RESPA, Truth in Lending, HMDA, HOEPA, etc. Discuss & be knowledgeable with different loan products, terms and conditions of each. Promote credit union products & services. Establish and actively participate in referral relationships to develop new business and retain existing business.
Qualified Applicant must be self-motivated, ethical & experienced in residential mortgage origination including but not limited to: Excellent communication skills, a minimum of 2 years recent “full-time” mortgage origination, proven record of success, good PC skills, including LOS system, word, & excel.
