Overdraft Protection

Overdraft Protection allows funds to automatically transfer from a designated account to your checking account in the event of an account overdraft. With our Overdraft Protection, you use your own money to prevent your checking account from becoming negative. The cost for this service is $5 per overdraft transaction. You can customize the order of preference for funds withdrawal if you have multiple savings accounts, or use an existing line of credit. Sign up by contacting a Member Service Representative or logging in to your NetBranch account.

Courtesy Pay

Courtesy Pay** protects your checking account when an inadvertent overdraft occurs. In other words, if you write a check that makes your checking account negative, that check may be paid on your behalf by TruService. Of course, you have to deposit the funds to cover the amount of the overdraft plus the Courtesy Pay fee, but at least you won’t have to pay the merchant’s returned check fee or any collection agency fees. Not to mention it will protect your credit rating, and save you the embarrassment of a returned check. The cost of Courtesy Pay is $30 per item paid, up to your Courtesy Pay limit. Members must qualify for Courtesy Pay. See Courtesy Pay disclosure agreement for more details.
