Joining the credit union is easy! Simply open a savings account online or in-branch with as little as $5 to start enjoying TruService member benefits.

How to Apply

You'll need the following documents to apply in person or online. If more than one person will be on an account, you will need documents for both individuals.

For applications done via regular mail or in person, all signatures must be notarized if not signed in the presence of a credit union employee.

  1. Photo Identification – A non-expired, government-issued identification, such as a state-issued driver’s license, state-issued identification card, military ID, or US Passport (an account for a minor would require a copy of their social security card).

  2. Proof of Residence – If your address is different than the one listed on your photo ID, we require two items for proof of residence. These may include a recent residential phone bill in your name, a recent residential utility bill (i.e. water, gas, electricity, cable), etc.

  3. Minimum Initial Deposit – An initial deposit of $5 is all you need. For mail application, please send a check or money order made payable to TruService Community Federal Credit Union. For online applications, you will need to submit a voided check from your current checking account for the initial deposit to be taken by ACH transaction.
